Rode bobby on Sunday, he was good with me. Sue let us warm up on our own which was fun, but we coudn't change rein, dawn suddenly left 1/2 way through, only later i found out cos she had to change horses, GoldRidge was lame.
Little Red was being fresh with sam, little red was like that to me a few weeks ago so i could sympathise with him, red was jumping and cantering about the place wildly with too much energy. Bobby was a little angel, he only spooked once when little red suddenly jumped at something.
Then we practiced simple changes across the diagonal, bobby was very good, did whatever i asked him to do, Sam didn't want to do it with Little red so he just stood in the middle. The second time round, bobby didn;t canter right when i asked him too and i couldn;t really get him to trot at x, he just kept cantering. Sue said it was because he knew the excercise and was trying to get away with how he wanted things done. He went on the wrong leads as well.
So i tried again with him, asked for the correct leads, REALLY slowed him down at X and managed to get it right !
