Spent the most of the weekend at riderslodge, left STRAIGHT after sch on friday and managed to reach there in time for the 4 pm lesson. I was on diamond ( YAY ) he was really nice, sooo rounded and on the bit nearly the entire lesson ! i was soo proud of him. His trot was rather rhythmic but surprisingly i could still sit to it. It was only towards the end of the lesson he started freaking out and spooking at whatever chester was spooking at.
At 6 i had AVC for jumping, i have started becoming more aware of my jumping position now somehow. He was quite ok to jump, didn;t refuse or knock over anything. Nat, tanja, phoebe and katie all stayed in the same room, Annabelle was supposed to go but didn;t in the end which was a shame as i would have liked to room with her, but instead had to with my father which was ok i guess. We stayed in for dinner as they had this " Christmas in July " thing so the food was cheaper, riderslodge food is ALWAYS delicious.
Next day afternoon after the morning lessons , ellesse, nat, p and katie and me went to nat's room and started making prank phone calls to adverts in the newspapers ! it was SOOOO funny!!! the guys on the other line were sooo gullible i think some of them actually believed Ellesse.. like
Ellesse(calling a property advert) : I have four children and they are very fat. Do you think you have a house that they can fit in ?
Ong ( guy answering the phone ) : Yes, we have many, perhaps a bungalow ?
Ellesse : Oh and they like to chew on wood, do you have a property that can withstand their chewing ?
Ong: I assure you they will not be able to chew on wood, the house is made of concrete
Ellesse : Hold on for a minute i have to get my child off the balcony
( screams loudly) " Velma GET YOUR ASS OFF THE BALCONY NOW !!!!!!!!!! "
ellesse : Sorry about that, what were you saying ?
Ong : Err i think you are a bit fierce ah with your children...............
hahah that was just an example !
We didn;t jump very high this time, but we did manage to do some interesting jumps. We also tried leg-yielding but didn;t really manage to do it somehow, i was really doing it well at Il Paraetaio, maybe cos the horse was trained to it.
Then after dinner last time we watched House of wax !! it was pretty scary but not the scariest i have watched, it was definetely REALLY REALLY gory though ! probably one of the goriest. And how Paris Hilton dies....... haha a stick goes through her head.
Then left rl at like 6.30 this morning to come back to watch Keegan in his first Agility competition and help with the pony Rides which was right next it. Zul actually saw me and told me to come in and help. After standing around for about 15 minutes i got a job leading a pony called Penelope, it was loads of fun i must say and i saw ppl from school who were in charge of the ticket collecting, they were doing it for CIP. Keegan looks SOOO GOOD jumping !!! he was great a first but then ran off 1/2 way.
I met a girl who also rides ! she's sec 1 and goes to rl as well, goodness maybe there are more IJ girls who ride than i know of !
I was just disappointed i didn;t get to help load the ponies onto the the box , i wanted to see what the inside of a horsebox looked like. But it was soo cool to lead a pony through a park !!!
Oh did i mention the president actually dropped by to see the horses ? cos it was this Presidents Star Charity / Team Singapore thing. Should have had a riding display or something, there were a lot of Team singapore riders helping out !
