Went for Leader training at RDA today.......... It was grooming and tacking up basically, i was assigned Blossom, she was supposed to be really grumpy but she was actually ok with me !!! i was quite happy with that, we practiced tacking them up with head collar 0n, my only BIG difficulty is the bit part. It is difficult to slot in her mouth plus with people watching my every move !!
It's a good thing i'm already familiarised with horses, but it was a good refresher course.......
Then we had to try and tack the horses up in 5 minutes !! with the experienced leader assigned to help us Richard watching. In the end i think i managed to do it in about 10 minutes ! Oh and i also applied hoof oil !!! a first for me !
Next week was supposed to be arena training ( i had a bit of that actually ) but i have to skip it.......... Going to Canada , anywayz logging out now bye !
