A private issue ...........
There's the rule of no other-than-white-beige/nude-toned -grey bras in my school, i mean it;s really perfectly acceptable.......... multi-coloured ones can be seen through our white blouses or PE t-shirts. So no modesty........ but then again...... shouldn't we have a choice of what coloured underwear that we want to wear ? Even something such as THAT even needs to have a rule, or are students so irresponsible so as to wear the kind of visible underwear, i mean i think we're lucky panties don;t have a rules !
But i guess since we're a convent school things are just that way, strictly-enforced rules for a school with a reputation for " havoc " girls.
One thing Teo Ching ling ( Head of CCA ) was saying.......... how she felt it was sad that women could just change t-shirts ( wearing a bra ) in the open. i quote " Underwear is meant to be worn on the inside " What the heck is the big deal ?? if a woman/girl jus wants to go out jogging just wearing a sports bra on top ? It's her problem if she gets raped/murdered/ molested and we are lucky to live in a country where that is not a very common occurance. I personally DO NOT think that just changing t-shirts out in the open is sad ! it's their choice ! we should NOT be condemning them for such acts ( She showed us her bra oooooooh tsk tsk tsk ) If guys can just strip off shirts to change why can't we ? ( i mean with bras on duh ) Isn't wearing a bikini worse ? i mean wearing a skimpy string bikini top we are showing off more than sports bra would ! What about Lingerie adds ? pictures of semi-naked women we are bombarded with daily ? I really don;t think girls stripping off tops to change in public should be considered upsetting or sad, it's about time we are able to do something like that in public i mean they ARE still wearing clothes .
