First day of school today, i walked in alone and stood around in the canteen till i saw someone familiar and willing to talk to me. Finally kath come, she told me how she had her first fall ( about time !!!) fell off pip as we walked up to the hall. There i found my class 4/9, and jo and val and shu ping, grace was no where to be seen. Sat in front of stephanie and we had assembly....... shit now the song don;t funk with my heart is so intuned in me such that i can;t play the bloody song without thinking of IAG ( whereupon i had to get up on stage and dance to it ) anyway........ irrelevant ! found out who our form teachers where , ours was Mag Low, everyone was a bit shocked. She saw my belt and was like " too loose !" i was " What the......?" anywhow after sitting through some more talks by the teacher and principal we made our way into the canteen for some " explore the school " game. I jus sat and read my book.
Then came recess, bought some chilli macaroni and cheese which wasn;t terribly nice and joined the 3-mile long drink stall queue. After recess we where shunted back up to the hall and then shown to the courtyard for " assembly Simulation " standing in the hot sun in wierd slanted alignments. Finally we where shown to our Homerooms, mine is G404, Gabriels block, 4th floor, room 4. It was spacious and airy, sat next to stephanie. Then we where given our timetables. Got same teachers for accounts, physics and history, the rest where changed.
Still haven;t fully explored the school yet though....... then we had to go back to the hall for some cheers with the prefects, sorry Councilors now. Damned boring and no-one was in the mood to cheer.
Riding at polo club, was half-bad half-good. I was ons smint, he was a devil in the beginning, determined to give me a hard time and refusing to go near the ground poles laid out. Finally Tommy got on him and straightened him out. He was quite ok after that, but he did run away with me twice, once spooking at some creaking sound and the other i dunno why.......
